I researched the Amber Room and I think that the "box" they are looking for IS in deed the Amber Room itself. I was an "over the top" room lined completely in Amber and jeweled panels filled with eloquence and design. In none of my research, did I find any mention of a music box, but rather the room itself referred to as a Jewel Box. I think, in the end....Neil will be looking for the Amber Room itself, since it was stolen during WW II, was put on display for a short time (2 years, I think.) and then dismantled and packaged up again in order to protect it from the destruction of late WWII. Those crates have not been seen they were packaged and moved.

Just my take on that aspect of the show.
