According to the NY Daily News, Kelly Bensimon of Real Housewives of New York is going to pose nude for Playboy magazine.

A Playboy rep stated that the mother of two “will be featured on the cover and in a six-page nude pictorial in the March issue.”  It’s reported that her husband, famous photographer Gilles Bensimon, will be doing the photo shoot to make her feel more comfortable.  She will be the first of the Real Housewives of New York to pose for Playboy, but not the first for the “Housewives” brand to pose for the magazine.  Real Housewives of Orange County cast member Jeana Tomasino Keogh was Miss November in 1980.

She’s not even the first New York “Housewife” to take off her clothes in front of a camera.  Her cast mate Bethenny Frankel recently posed nude for PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” ad campaign, which, let’s be honest, is a tad classier than Playboy but not by much.

Sorry Kelly, you’re not the first at anything here.  Try again with some other crazy scheme to gain more popularity.  I’m sure your fellow cast mates are already foaming at the mouth (figuratively) to try and out do this little number you’ve sprung on us.
