There are tons of new shows on tonight…in fact, there are so many that I had a hard time figuring out which ones to feature. Here are those lucky shows that won.
24 (8:00 p.m. EST, FOX)
This is the eighth season of the groundbreaking show; therefore, it’s the eighth day in Jack Bauer’s (Keifer Sutherland) incredible adventure. On tonight’s episode, Chloe (??) finds a lead that may be connected to the assassination attempt. Jack follows the lead in spite of CTU honcho Brian Hastings’ (Mykelti Williamson) disapproval. Sounds like the action will continue rocking hard on tonight’s new episode.
Life Unexpected (9:00 p.m. EST, CW)
The pilot of this series airs tonight. Lux (Britt Robertson) does her best to leave the foster care system and becomes an emancipated minor.
After locating her birth parents (Kristoffer Polaha and Shiri Appleby) for the first time, she ends up in their custody. While the plot seems so-so, I still want to check this one out. It’s said to be quirky and heartfelt…it might just be the greatest new show to hit the CW in quite some time.
The Buried Life (10:00 p.m. EST, MTV)
If you haven’t heard of this series, climb out from under that rock and pay attention. Four young adventurers take on their “bucket list”: 100 things they want to do before they die. Along the way, they help others fulfill an item on their own list. On tonight’s episode, the foursome tries to crash a party at the legendary Playboy Mansion. Afterwards, they help a blind person ride a horse and relive a childhood memory. This is one reality show that you can actually feel good for watching.
