TV’s Hottest Doctors Gallery includes some of the finest male characters to grace the small screen, so let’s begin with my favorite eye candy, the vulnerable doe-eyed Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) from Grey’s Anatomy. He still can’t get the girl, but that just means he is available. Next in line is Gonzo Gates (Gregory Harrison), a young surgeon who got his feet wet in a Vietnam MASH unit, before joining Trapper John M.D. at San Francisco Memorial Hospital, in 1985. Dr. Phillip Chandler (Denzel Washington) is a fantasy man in the midst of the decay at St. Elsewhere.
Next there is Jack (Matthew Fox).
That’s all anyone needs to hear to know exactly who I mean. The Losties would not have made it this far on that creepy island, without his calm demeanor and skills as a spinal surgeon. Coming in at fifth place is the clueless and fictional, Days of Our Lives doctor, Drake Ramoray, played by Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) of Friends. The goofy doc died when he fell down an elevator shaft, after ticking off the show’s producers.
ER was brimming with gorgeous men and Drs. Doug Ross (George Clooney) and Luka Kovak (Goran Visnjic) are no exception. George Clooney, every mother’s favorite pediatrician, was also given top billing on the “Sexiest TV Men of All Time” photo page. Bringing up the rear are two angels of mercy, from days gone by. Ben Casey (Vince Edwards), the handsome surgeon from County General Hospital, and James Kildare ( Richard Chamberlain), an intern with Blair General Hospital, helped to revolutionize the way society looks at those who heal. Make no mistake, hospitals would be overflowing with female “patients,” if all doctors looked like these hunks.

These are good, but there are so manym more! What about Rick Springfield as Dr. Noah Drake on General Hospital? He was very yummy back then!

Roxanne, Rick Springfield actually came back to GH recently to resume his Dr. Noah Drake role. Isn't that crazy? I can't lie. I really loved George Clooney as Doug Ross on ER back when ER first came out.
