It’s a new year, and we have the first award show of the season! The 2010 People’s Choice Awards kicked off at 9/8 Central on CBS from the Nokia Center in Los Angeles.
Hosted by Queen Latifah, the People’s Choice Awards is different from other award shows, in that it let’s the viewers decide the winners. With more than 60 million votes cast, it was one of the biggest ones yet. Featuring a performance from Mary J. Blidge and appearances by Taylor Lautner, Mariah Carey, Carrie Underwood, Ryan Reynolds, Nicole Scherzinger and Ellen DeGeneres, the 2010 People’s Choice Awards was one heck of a star-studded event.
Of course, what would an awards show be without, well, awards! Here’s a list of some of the major television categories that you, the viewer, voted on, including the nominees and the winners.
