Jake_Pavelka_300x300Heroes (8:00 p.m. EST, NBC)

That’s right, folks! Heroes is back! I have to say, I’m having a hard time keeping up with this show’s weird on-season, off-season, on again schedule, and I was stoked to see it on the list of new episodes airing tonight. On tonight’s episode, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) learns more about Samuel’s (Robert Knepper) carnival as she tries to find her place in the world. Noah (Jack Coleman), a.k.a. Horn-Rimmed Glasses Dude, asks for Matt’s (Greg Grunberg) help to take down Samuel. And our favorite villain, Sylar (the delicious Zachary Quinto), returns to the carnival.

Lots happening, and lots of catching up to do!

The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love (8:00 p.m. EST, ABC)

Season 14 of The Bachelor starts tonight with a new bachelor, Jake Pavelka. Jake was on the 2009 season of The Bachelorette, and he’s ready to find his own love as he’s introduced to the 25 contestants, all vying for Jake’s heart. And who’s going to help him sift through the ladies? Bachelorette Jillian Harris and the guy she picked instead of Jake (Ed Swiderski). Awkward? Never! This is The Bachelor, after all.

The Goode Family (10:00 p.m. EST, COMEDY)

Mike Judge, creator of Beavis & Butthead and King of the Hill, is back at it with his creation The Goode Family. This animated series focuses on the Goode family (duh), who are obsessed with doing the “right” thing in a social, political and environmental sense. I have a feeling that some very politically correct viewers might be offended while watching this show…and that makes me want to watch it more.
