Happy 2010! Today’s the day for lounging on the couch and recovering from all of that debauchery last night. If you’re looking for something to watch, look no further.
Better Off Ted (8:30 p.m. EST, ABC)
New episodes are back and better than ever. During tonight’s episode, Veronica (the stunning Portia de Rossi) puts in her two cents worth when an employee falsely charges Ted (Jay Harrington) and Linda (Andrea Anders) with sexual harassment, which would have serious ramifications. Hopefully our two buddies won’t get in trouble. This office would never be the same.
Scrubs (9:00 p.m. EST, ABC)
Poor Turk (Donald Faison). On tonight’s episode, he starts the search for a new best friend.
It’s not easy finding a replacement for JD (Zach Braff)! Meanwhile, Elliot (Sarah Chalke) advises Lucy (Kerry Bishe), who’s fatigued and feeling overworked. I have to wonder how long this series will last without Zach Braff…I mean, he’s just so dreamy! I know, I know—it’s a spin-off. But that doesn’t mean that I still can’t be disappointed.
The Soup (10:00 p.m. EST, E!)
Okay, guys—it’s time for me to come clean. I have dreams about Joel McHale. I just love him so much. He’s goofy, hysterical, and not bad on the eyes. If you’re as much of a sucker as I am, you need to watch The Soup’s first 2010 episode. Laugh at pop culture idiots and enjoy the witticisms of those clever E! writers.
