Local news shows are always a great resource for bloopers and crazy stories. This year we have had a tremendous amount of wacky incidents of local news shows across the nation.

10. A missing mug shot has a gerbil listed as a kidnapping suspect.

9. When there is no hard news, cover the Michael Jackson vision.  A family sees Michael Jackson in a tree stump.

6. The grandmother of a 15-year-old girl attacks a cameraman with a hoe. This cookie baking grandma can pack a punch.

5. Cyber bully or crazy nut job? A suspect charged with cyber stalking does an interview in a bunny suit.

4.  A city in an uproar because Popeye’s ran out of chicken. The first woman makes the story worthwhile.

3.  A meteorologist gets a scare from a spider and looses it because it crawls across her leg.

2. When doing a news story about birds news look up. The bird may give you more than a good story.

1. The story of a bear loose in the Chicago area has everyone on edge.

With no bear available, the news them uses a cardboard stand-in of a bear. They use this prop to reenact various movements of the bear. This story had me in stitches.
