Merry (belated) Christmas and a Happy (very belated) Hanukkah! Let’s get into the nitty-gritty of what happened this last weekend, shall we?
Charlie Sheen (as seen on Two and a Half Men) is in trouble in Aspen after being arrested for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief on Christmas Day. Ambulances arrived on scene, but the victim (who’s name hasn’t been revealed but I suspect it’s his wife) did not need to be transported after the domestic violence incident. This is the second alleged domestic violence incident for Sheen as he was arrested in 1994 for allegedly pushing a 24 year-old woman to the floor during an argument. Good news for Sheen though- he and his wife have agreed to go to marriage counseling to work things out from now on.
More on the famous couple we love to hate!
Jon Gosselin’s apartment was apparently broken into and ransacked by ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman. Apparently several of his things were slashed with a knife, electronics were stolen and a note was stuck to his headboard (with said slashy knife) that called Gosselin a “cheater” and was apparently signed by Glassman. Glassman was questioned, but no one knows the outcome and Gosselin wants to pursue charges. Personally I think the whole thing was orchestrated just so Jon Gosselin can cling to the 15 minutes of fame that have already long slipped from his fingers.
Kate Gosselin has filmed a pilot for a new talk show that no one wants. The show, which is being pushed as The View for working moms (I thought that’s what The Viewalready was), will star Kate Gosselin with co-hosts Paula Deen, Lee Woodruff and Rene Sylar. Television execs keep bouncing around the show from network to network with no one latching on. Despite the efforts of the execs who somehow read our collective minds in the effort to keep Kate Gosselin off television, TLC is still committed to having a show for her to star in come spring.
That wraps it up folks! See you in 2010!
