Scrubs (9:00 p.m. EST, ABC)
J.D.’s (Zach Braff) teaching job comes to an end, and he’s still dealing with the fact that he yearns for approval. Poor J.D. He just wants everyone to like him. Meanwhile, Lucy (Kerry Bishe) is nervous about performing a procedure on a real human being. On the relationship front, Denise (Eliza Coupe) and Drew (Michael Mosley) make their romance official.
Dirty Jobs (9:00 p.m. EST, DSC)
I love the Discovery Channel. They have the most interesting shows. In particular, I love Dirty Jobs. Maybe it’s because I thrive off of gross stuff, or maybe it’s just because I’m a weirdo, but I love seeing Mike Rowe work at some of the most disgusting jobs in the world.
On tonight’s episode, Mike works as a clam harvester at the Alligator Harbor Aquatic Preserve and a worm grunter in the Apalachicola National Forest. I have to say that I’m excited to see the worm grunting.
Better Off Ted (9:30 p.m. EST, ABC)
This is one sitcom that I want to try to get into. After all, it has one of my favorite actresses in it (Portia de Rossi), and it’s gotten pretty good reviews. On tonight’s episode, Lem’s (Malcolm Barrett) mother, played by Khandi Alexander, visits the business and abruptly starts an affair with Dr. Bhamba (Maz Jobrani). Meanwhile, Linda (Andrea Anders) suggests an improvement on one of Ted’s (Jay Harrington) projects for a light bulb that never burns out, stealing his thunder and becoming the go-to gal in the office.
