Real_World_DC_Callie_300x300I had the amazing opportunity to interview three members of The Real World DC this week. My first interview was with Callie. She had tons of things to tell me about herself and her time on MTV’s The Real World.

Callie is a small town girl from Huntsville, Texas, with a passion for photography. Her passion for photography started a few years back as a hobby and has grown into her career choice. She said, “I love to find the beauty in unexpected places and the small things.” I asked if she could photograph anything or anyone in the world, what or who would it be. She would like to travel back in time and photograph Marilyn Monroe.

Callie tried out for The Real World on a whim. She wanted to go out and explore the world outside of her small town and have new adventures.

She wasn’t scared going into the show. She says she was ready for new things and she was full of pent up energy.

Her favorite thing about the show and DC itself was all the different types of people. She said, “Everyone is from different places and they all have stories to tell.” She said that the four months she spent living in The Real World DC house was like a constant roller coaster ride with all the ups, downs and unexpected turns.

So what can we expect from the show? Well Callie takes an internship in DC. She hangs out a lot and goes clubbing with roommate Erika. She said there were a lot of little agreements and debates in the house, but she tried to stay cool with everyone. For all you guys out there, she is super single. She plays the field and dates all types of people all the time. She does not want to be tied down right now in her life.

Callie seemed like a down-to-earth girl with a good heart. She was kind of shy and not as talkative as the other two interviews. She says this season is going to be different than other seasons and all the cast members have a meaningful journey on the show.  The Real World DC premieres December 30th on MTV.
