We are all aware of what The President eats and what his option is on the issues. But, do you know the facts? The really important stuff about our president, like what TV shows he enjoys most. What are the little guilty pleasures of the current Commander-in-Chief? The answers might surprise you.
Press Secretary Robert Gibbs has spilled the beans about the shows the President Barak Obama can’t live without. First and foremost on the President’s list is none other that HBO’s Entourage. Entourage is Obama’s favorite show. He loves Vincent Chase and don’t forget that Ari Gold was inspired by real-life agent Ari Emanuel, the brother of Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel.
The President loves the show so much that he planned his campaign duties around the show.
Mr. Gibbs stated, “We would have these Sunday night calls at the same time as Entourage.” He also said, “I remember one time I e-mailed him because the call was scheduled for the last 15 minutes of Entourage and I said, ‘Just be late and we can just watch Entourage and still get on and do the call. And it worked. We got to see Entourage.”
One of The Presidents favorite TV shows has now been canceled, The Wire. Obama has said that Omar, a gay drug dealer, was his favorite character because he’s “fascinating.”
As the father of two small girls, Malia, 10 and Sasha, 7, the president takes time out to watch Hanna Montana and Spongebob. The Commander-in-chief also loves his sports. He has religiously tuned in for SportsCenter on ESPN.
You may have noticed the absence of news programs. According to Press secretary Gibbs, the President prefers to read the news. He does not watch speeches or conferences either. “Sometimes we’ll show him like a YouTube clip or something off a website itself, and he gets a kick out of that,” Gibbs said.
So the next time you are turning on Entourage or SportsCenter, chances are the leader of the free world is watching with you. What do you think about President Obama’s viewing choices?

Good article, Missy! I think it's sad thought that our president's favorite character is a gay drup dealer.

I actually think it is awesome that he likes interesting and well developed characters. It would scare me more if he had pointed out Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men
