To what depths of hell would you go to save your family? This week on Criminal Minds one man’s retaliation is another man’s worst nightmare in one of the most dramatic episodes of the season.
Imagine being at the beckoning whim of a mad man who has forced you to stand by and watch as he’s murdered two people in cold blood. A mad man that hands you a gun and begs you to kill him and end it all… but you can’t, even if you wanted to. This is the world of one poor soul on this week’s episode of Criminal Minds.
Throughout the show we are brought along slowly as this wicked plot thickens and we see two men at opposite ends of sanity.
One man is on a murderous killing spree and who has already murdered multiple people including a cop right before our eyes. The other man is helping this lunatic escape police custody and stands by his side as other people are murdered.
As I watched this play out I was wondering what in the world could be going on here? How could two totally different people be teamed up and working together as partners? Some cleverly written scripting would have us believe that this guy owes the murderer something. What could a person possibly owe someone to stand by and watch them commit these types of atrocious acts?
At times the relationship between these two men seemed almost as if it were a big brother to little brother type of situation and this only make you want the Criminal Minds team to start providing some answers because you’re frustrated trying to figure this one out on your own.
In the end it came down to one word: family. When a mad man has taken your family and is the only one who knows where they are, plus threatens to kill them if you don’t help him in whatever capacity he asks, then what can you do? You go through hell is the answer, and that is exactly what this guy went through in this dramatic episode of Criminal Minds. I personally believe this was one of the best episodes of the season and if you’re a Criminal Minds fan then you probably already agree with me.
