LeBron_James_300x300In the Sunday night Oklahoma City vs. Cincinnati game, LeBron James scored a season high 44 points, but that’s not what has basketball fans all over the globe abuzz. King James, as the fans call him, is known for his ability to maneuver the court and steal the ball like a ghost, but the ball wasn’t the only thing he stole Sunday night.

Coming off of a steal and into a layup, James was fouled during the shot, but it didn’t stop him from slipping into the front row to steal a handful of french fries from one lucky fan. Basketball is a rugged sport, and those players must get hungry. Who can blame him for grabbing a mid-game snack, especially after all the hard work he did throughout the game: 44 game points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals, well five if you count the french fries.

No one else in the world is going to own those kind of bragging rights.

I can see the kid now. Billy Jones is bragging on Monday morning in the locker room about his dad scoring season Oklahoma City Thunder tickets. Everyone thinks it’s the coolest thing ever until Davy Smith smugly says, “LeBron James stole my fries.”

Who wants to bet on the first fast food icon to offer him a commercial deal? I’m putting my money on Burger King.
