This week there are hundreds of movies airing on just about every network. So what do you watch? Well that is up to you, but I have complied some of the movies you might like to take in. These movies range in genre and time. We have a few classics some newer movies and of course, a few holiday movies.

Top GunTop Gun- The Tom Cruise Kelly McGillis movie about fighter pilots that had all the women drooling over Tom Cruise and all the men wanting to fly a plane.

Friday, December 11th at 7:00 p.m. and again at 9:oo p.m. on FUSE

The Rocky Horror Picture Show- Transvestite Dr.

Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry) offers shelter to a stranded couple (Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick), in this cult rock opera. The Rocky Horror Picture Dhow is a movie every one should watch once. You either love the show or you hate it.

Tuesday, December 15th at 8:o0 p.m. till 12:00 p.m. on TCM

Gone with the Wind- If you have an evening to spare, this is truly a classic. This is the story of a southern girl during the Civil War, who will do just about anything to get what she wants.

New Movies

Friday, December 11th at 7:30 p.m. on USA
I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry- Adam Sandler and Kevin James make a hilarious couple in this movie about a widowed firefighter who asks his straight pal to pose as his gay husband, to keep his insurance.

Tuesday, December 15th at 8:30 p.m. on HBOe

The Changeling- This true story tells of Christine Collins who had her 9 year old son kidnapped. After the boy returns home, she says that it is not her son. This opens a whole can of worms about corruption in the LAPD.

Thursday December 17th 7:15 p.m. on HBO

The Day the Earth Stood Still- This remake of the classic is a must see for the FX alone. An alien invasion and a giant automaton, what else could you want? This show is airing multiple time on HBOe and the original is airing on FMC on Thursday December 17th at 4:30 p.m.

Christmas Specials

There are so many Christmas specials airing this week, it would take hours to name them all. I have chose a few classics and a couple favorites to list here.

Friday, December 11th at 8:00 p.m. on CBS

Yes, Virginia There is a Santa Claus- This classic tale is of a newspaper writer, Bronson. He is   struggling with his wife death and receives a “special” assignment. He must answer a little girl’s question about whether Santa Claus really exists.

Saturday, December 12th at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on ABC Family

The Santa Clause 2 and 3- These Christmas movies are quickly becoming classics. Tim Allen returns to play jolly ole St. Nick when many different incidents threaten Christmas.

Saturday, December 12th at 8:00 p.m. on NBC

It’s a Wonderful Life- this classic tale of a small business man and his encounter with Clarence the Angel always pleases.
