The students of Ghost Hunters Academy have only two more investigations to impress the instructors. A new student arrives that has the rest of the team on edge. Another student says, “I don’t want to be here anymore.” The students try to convince Steve and Tango they are right for TAPS.

The Students head to Saint Augustine Lighthouse in Saint Augustine, Florida. When the students jump off the RV, they meet Chris Smith, the new student. On the tour they are told of the reports in the lighthouse. They reports range from apparitions of a woman and child to voices, noises and footsteps.  On the tour Chris S.is the only student that asks any questions.

This really impresses Steve and Tango. The team sets up quickly. Karl takes the new Chris under his wing and helps him with the equipment.

New Chris and Karl go into the basement of the keeper’s quarters and start an EVP session. Karl impresses the instructors with his abilities and the way he helps Chris. The other Chris and Jane were outside wandering around and they get reprimanded for not asking questions about the activity out there. Steve gets angry and shouts, “Stop making excuses.” He takes Chris M. off alone and discovers how bad he misses home. Steve explains that in a years time he is at home only four to five weeks.

Susan gets some brownie points for bringing trigger objects. A trigger object is an object that a ghost might remember or use. For Example, if the report is of a child who liked dolls and candy, you might bring dolls and candy to lay out for the ghost.

The evidence did not yield much but a weird sound in the lighthouse. When the instructors were reviewing the students, Jane piped up with how Chris M. Shows up late and leaves early. She also said that he told her he did not want to be there. Jane is one big confrontation in a bottle. She is constantly throwing her teammates under the bus to save herself. When it came time to send someone home, it was between Jane and Chris M. It would have been Jane but Chris said he wanted to go home.

If I was Jane, I would work my tail off at the next investigation and keep my trap shut. I doubt she has any chance of actually investigating with TAPS, especially after her many outbursts and trying to get others in trouble. I really think they are definitely going to take Ben and Karl. Susan and Chris still have a good chance though.
