This week on Ghost Hunters, we got to see two amazing investigations. Steve and Tango are still filming Ghost Hunters Academy and Dustin and Britt take there place. The TAPS team started at an American Legion in Pennsylvania.

American Legion Hall, Willow Creek, PA

This building was built in the 1700s and has served as a farmhouse, apartments and the Legion Hall.  There are reports here of apparitions, voices and noises. One apparition looked so real a man actually pulled a gun on him. When the team set up in the building, Amy and Kris both saw shadow figures run across the window on two different floors. A light also came on in a room that no one was in.

Jason and Grant started the investigation on the third floor.

They described a new piece of equipment called a Mel Meter. This new device measures EMF fields, temperature and vibrations of the room. I am so putting one of these on my Christmas list. They hear someone come through the front door and up the steps, but find that all of the team is outside.

Jason and Grant went down to the bar, Jason saw a shadow move by a window. About an hour later Amy and Kris were in the same room and saw the same shadow two more times.  Meanwhile Dustin and Britt are investigating and talking about the account of a woman being seen by the fireplace in a large black hat. They started joking about how it could be a witch and she was there over a cauldron cooking children.

In the evidence they find that one of their audio recorders picked up an EVP that sounded like it said “important.”   The video captured the figure that moved past the window. The figure was free standing and moved very quickly, as if it was running.

The Old State House, Hartford, Connecticut

This is the oldest state capital building in America, it was built in 1796. The land the building sits on is the location of the first witch trials execution in New England. The reports here are of strange noises, voices and footsteps.

Jason and Grant begin in the Great Hall. The K2 meters were acting crazy in here. The guys could not find the source. Dustin and Britt head to the museum of oddities to debunk the reports of seeing a face from outside. It doesn’t take long for them to discover that walking along the street you can see in that window. If someone was inside the museum they could have definitely scared the people on the street.

In the evidence, the sound of a doorknob being turned and the door opening can be heard, however, at that time the video shows that entire floor to be empty. In the museum area Dustin and Britt captured an EVP that sounds like a woman sighing.

The season finale of Ghost Hunters is next week and Ghost Hunters International will premiere January 6, 2010.
