The CSI: Miami team helps out in a police car chase that ends with them finding a body in the trunk of the car and a young teenager behind the wheel as the passenger escapes on foot. As it turns out, the dead young man in the trunk was a census bureau worker who stumbled onto a house where they were cooking up drugs and was killed for it.
As the team investigates the house, the lab explodes and two of the CSI: Miami agents get caught up in the explosion. They seem to be okay at first but in the end of the episode Natalia shows signs of having something seriously wrong with her as she walks around looking confused and hesitant.
Next to the house with the drug lab the team comes across a neighbor who is just the worse type of person imaginable…
She is a real snooty type of person that turns her nose up on everyone for anything. She basically has a live-in slave, as the girl who works for her is from another country and is badly mistreated. In the end the woman’s bad deeds are uncovered and she is arrested.
The young girl that was kept at the house was sneaking off to be with the neighbor’s son, who was the one cooking up the drugs for the drug dealer. This is the same teenager of good nature that was set up to think he killed the bureau worker so that the drug dealer would have something to use over him in order to keep him cooking up his drugs.
This was like a triple-sided episode of CSI: Miami with multiple plots and story lines that I truly found entertaining and fascinating. Again, CSI delivered a great episode that tested the team’s investigation skills.
