This is when the porn movie-house scandal made the papers. Despite his tribulations, I watched Pee-Wee's Playhouse with my kids all those years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, so did they : ) I went on to buy a boxed set of shows, (video cassettes), that are oddly treasured to this day.
