The Vampire Diaries had me on the edge of my seat for almost the entire episode last night. Elena Gilbert and her whole family must be some kind of magnet for vampires. The Gilberts must be like prime rib to vampires.

We start this episode at the end of the last episode, with Logan on Jeana’s doorstep. She refused to let him in. He passes a jogger on the way home and attacks her. The sheriff goes to Damon for help with the vampire. Stefan overhears and decides to stay to protect Elena.

Jeremy discovers some old journals that talk about demons and vampires and begins to draw some vampires.

Elena and Bonnie discuss her relationship with Stefan and how Elena does love him. Damon tracks Logan and is ambushed with an array of wooden bullets. Logan refuses to tell Damon who changed him and Damon refuses to tell Logan how to walk around during the day.

After Logan fills Damon with wooden bullets, he head to the school. Stefan discovers that Logan is a vampire and he tries to protect Elena. Logan picks up Caroline and knocks her out. Then calls the sheriff and tells her he has her daughter. Stefan and Damon attack the car and shoot Logan. Stefan grabbed Caroline and took her home. Damon starts to fight with Logan when Logan tells him he is not the only one who wants to open the tomb under the church and that he can help Damon.

Damon decides to let Logan beat him up, so the sheriff will believe it. Logan runs off and is confronted my Alaric, the new teacher. Alaric tells him to stay away from Jeana. Logan gets all cocky and runs at Alaric, only to be stabbed with a stake. The sherriff thinks Damon killed Logan.

Stefan and Elena start talking and she offers to take him home. She tells him that she knows he wants to protect her and that she loves him. He runs and kisses her. When the kissing gets a little to passionate, Stefan begins to “go vampire” and turns away. Elena makes him show her. She continues kissing him and they go upstairs. After they had sex, Stefan goes to get her a drink. While he is gone, she snoops around the room and finds a picture of Katherine. He come back and she is gone. She is driving down the road crying when a man jumps out in front of her.  She hits him and flips the car a few times. Then you see the guy she hit putting his bones back in place and coming after her.

A couple of other small things happened this episode; Matt says he really likes Caroline and Jeremy tries to be friends with Tyler. I enjoyed every minute of this episode. I am pretty sure whoever turned Logan into a vampire is the same person Elena hit. I can’t wait to find out.
