It’s Jules‘ “34th” birthday!  She can’t wait to celebrate.  She, Ellie, and Laurie all head to the beach to play in the waves when she runs into Shanna and Frank, friends she had when she was married.  White bathing suits, water, and horny men don’t generally mix and she’s shunned by Shanna and her minions.

Jules decides she’s going to take the girls on a road trip despite the fact that Ellie and Laurie can’t stand each other.  They argue constantly at the resort and make Jules’ life just that much harder.  When they try to split up hanging out time, Jules abandon them and goes out on her own.  She dances with a lovely gay man who she tries to make straight and eventually heads back to her room.

Before she gets there, she runs into Frank who tells her he brought Shanna to make up for him staring at Jules in a see-through bikini.  She tries to avoid them but ends up topless in a hot tub with Frank and Shanna really hurts her feelings.  Despite their differences, Ellie and Laurie band together, corner Shanna, and tell her if she ever hurts Jules again they will inflict bodily harm upon her.  The trio celebrate with stretchy pants and champagne back in the room.

While Jules is on her excursion she asks Grayson to check on Travis.  Travis tells Grayson not to come over and not to mess with him.  When Grayson notices Travis has a girlfriend over, he kicks the girl out.  Travis fakes coming out of the closet to Grayson in order to mess with him.  When Grayson admits to having kissed his boy cousin when they were kids, Travis’ girlfriend shows up, they kiss, and Travis says, “I told you not to mess with me.”  Grayson ends up having to pay Travis $50 to keep him quiet.

It was a decently cute episode, but I found the Travis/Grayson parts more entertaining than the parts with the girls.  When any of the females get upset, their voices rise above levels I’m comfortable with.  Next week Jules tries to make a memorable first impression on Travis’ girlfriend.  Should be cute!
