There are only four teams left on Dancing With The Stars. The semi-finals are here and the teams had to dance three routines last night. Yes, you heard me right. For the first time in the history of the show, each team had to prepare and perform three different routines to get themselves into the finals. To keep everything easy, I will tell you about each of the teams’ dances at once. They did not have to dance back to back.

Donny and Kym danced a Tango for their first dance. A wardrobe malfunction caused the dance to go to pieces. As much as they tried to save it, the dance was horrendous and Donny knew it. He actually hit the floor.  Donny and Kym came back and performed an exciting Samba that brought them back in the game. Their last dance was a Jitterbug that had excitement and vigor. They scored 21 for the Tango, 26 for the Samba and 27 for the Jitterbug. This gave them a total of 74 out of 90.

Joanna and Derek were up next with a Viennese Waltz. This was graceful and elegant. They performed a Cha Cha for the second dance. This was very clean and crisp. Joanna and Derek Then performed a hot and steamy Salsa for the last dance. The judges gave them a 27 for all three dances, for a total of 81.

Kelly and Louis took the floor after Joanna with a beautiful and sensual Rumba. Their Rumba was more spiritual than sexy, but I liked it. They then performed a near perfect Quickstep. There was one stumble in the dance. Kelly’s last dance was a Cha Cha. This dance was fast and Kelly performed with precision. Their scores were 24 for the Rumba, and 27 for the other two dances, which gave them a total of 78.

Mya and Dmitry were the last couple to perform. They started with a waltz that was elegant and beautiful.  The team them performed an awesome Salsa. For their last dance they chose a Cha Cha and again Mya was near perfection. They received a 28 for the waltz, a 30 for the Salsa and a 29 for the Cha Cha, for a total of 87.

The fact that Mya and Dmitry went last lowered everyone’s scores. The judges were expecting Mya to bring it with 30’s so they were judging everyone so they would have room to give Mya a 30. I feel so bad for Donny, getting caught in his partner’s dress. It was devastating at this part of the show.

We also saw a little bit into all the star’s lives. This was interesting except that they all had some kind of hard luck.  It made for a sad, tear-jerking moment. I am sure that they were trying to play the sympathy card for more votes. I expect to see Donny leaving this week and having an all female star finale.
