This week on CBS television’s hit sitcom, Two and a Half Men,  Chelsea’s college roommate is in town with a newly broken heart. The gorgeous Tricia Helfer of Battlestar Galactica fame guest stars as the college roommate in this funny episode.  A humorous part of the show was the fact that Charlie rarely listens to Chelsea but pretends he does. His lack of focus apparently gets him into some tricky situations at times and this happens to be one of them.

After they meet with Chelsea’s roommate Charlie, because of his intense daydreaming about the lovely Ms. Helfner, is totally oblivious to the fact that Chelsea invites her old friend to come stay at their home while she is grieving. This forces Charlie to put his brother Alan on the couch to make room for their new guest. Alan falls head over heels at the first site of her and even makes plans on having a double wedding with Charlie and Chelsea.

In a particularly interesting scene Charlie is awakened in the middle of the night to find Chelsea has left their bedroom to go support her friend who has a grieving moment because of the recent breakup with her boyfriend. Oddly enough, the two lovely ladies, each wearing a provocative night gown, entice Charlie into sitting on the bed between them. Charlie is mindful enough of the situation to realize he is dreaming, and of course dives right in to the fun.

The next day Chelsea leaves for work and Charlie is concerned that he will try something with her college roommate while she is gone.  He confides with this housekeeper about his dilemma and she advises him to send Alan to her room if he really wants her gone. Funny part is that it works like a charm and she high-tails it out of there in no time flat.

I just can’t say enough about the brand of comedy that comes with Two and a Half Men, you simply know what you are going to get with Charlie and the gang and it’s highly entertaining. This week’s hilarious episode was as good as any that have came before it.
