After Hank’s failed attempt last week to sever the ties with the campus love trio, he needs to figure out how to set things straight to keep from losing his big shot at making things right with Karen.

Hank is not off to a very good start. As soon as he finishes a Skype chat with Karen, Jackie shows up with two strippers and a bottle of wine, ready to party. In the morning, Jackie tells him she is done stripping for money, and is ready to give professional writing and a relationship with him a go. While trying to break things off with her again, Karen calls to find out if Becca made it to school.  One of the girl’s from the bedroom calls out to let Hank know one of the strippers is unconscious and won’t wake up.

Charlie shows up with Rick Springfield to negotiate the terms for selling Hank’s Porsche.  He tries to get rid of them, but Charlie and Rick offer to take the comatose stripper to the ER.

As they’re taking her body to the car, Jill shows up and Hank has everyone hide in the bedroom while he gets rid of her. She tells him that she accepts him for who he is, and she doesn’t want to change him. She says she’s in love with him, and he starts to deny her when she takes off her coat to reveal she’s naked and ready.

A third knock on the door brings Felicia. She’s come to tell Hank she can’t stop thinking about their lovemaking. She told her husband about them sleeping together, and now she’s leaving him so she can be with a man who makes her feel passionate.

Dean Coons arrives and walks in to talk to Hank about his wife leaving him. He asks Coons to hit him, but Coons says he just wants to understand how Hank does it. No matter how much of an ass he is, women flock to him like he’s a “chick whisperer.”  Felicia comes out from hiding while Coons is telling Hank how unsatisfying sex with Felicia was.  She confesses that she’s in love with Hank, and the dean wants to know if Hank is in love with her too.

Becca walks in, claiming she forgot one of her books. She’s with Chelsea, Felicia and Dean Coons’ daughter, who wants to know what her parents are doing there.  In the midst of the melee, Rick Springfield sets Hank’s bedroom on fire while having sex with Charlie and the strippers.

In the aftermath, Becca wants to know why Hank slept with all those women and to understand why he does the things he does. He knows he is hurting the people around him. Hank doesn’t know how many times he can say he’s sorry to her before it stops losing its meaning, and Becca admits that she’s afraid they’re going to find out.

The walls are coming down all around Hank. It’s only a matter of time before his behavior gets back to Karen, destroying his last chance to be with his soul mate. The show is called Californication, though, and one has to wonder what would happen to the plot if Hank got his act together. Let’s tune in next week to find out.
