After last week’s blindside of Eric, the old Foa Foa members are one step closer to controlling the tribe. With both immunity idols out of play, a new immunity idol is hidden. Who will be the next member of Survivor Samoa’s jury?
This episode started at the new Aiga tribe where Russell knows he’s in trouble, because the Galu girls are gunning for him. Natalie kills a rat and proves she is more than just a pretty face. She also exclaims, “It tastes like chicken.”
At the reward challenge, the tribes are separated into two teams of five. Natalie sat out from the challenge. Two players from each team raced down the field and untied large poles with black and white coconuts. Then, they carried the poles back to the starting line where they arranged the poles to spell out a four digit number. The purple team, which consisted of Dave, Laura, Shambo, Kelly, John and Monica, won the challenge. For their reward, they went to a huge rock slide with pools of fresh water and had a picnic lunch of fried chicken, fruit, sandwiches and chocolate. They also received a clue to the next immunity idol.
While the team was enjoying their reward, Russell was scouring the camp for the immunity idol. The lucky dog found another immunity idol without a clue. He said he wasn’t going to tell anyone, but decided to share the information with Shambo and Jaison. The plan was to get the former Galu members to vote for Russell, then Foa Foa would blindside one of their members.
At the immunity challenge, the cast members had to use a grappling hook to grab bags. The first three people to grab two bags moved on to the second half of the challenge. Mick, Shambo and Laura got to move on. In this part, they untied their bags. Each bag had one peg. They moved to a board with strange shaped holes and found the one hole that matched one of their pegs. As soon as the hole was filled, another peg was dropped. Laura won this challenge.
Foa Foa members now decided to target Kelly and let the Galu members shoot for Russell. During tribal council, the Galu members were overconfident to the point of being pious. Russell played his second immunity idol which shocked Galu to its core. (You should have seen the faces, it was awful.) When the votes were counted, all seven Galu members voted for Russell and all the Foa Foa voted for Kelly, sending Kelly home.
Again, Foa Foa pulls out all of the stops to keep their four in tact. I don’t know how long this is going to last. I hope next week they will be able to pull off another miracle. Next week, the Galu members will not give Russell a moment’s peace, in fear of him finding yet another immunity idol.

I am loving the numerous idols! Now can they just hide one anywhere where Russell can't find it?
