The Dancing With The Stars quarterfinal results show is here. We finally get to see the completed “Design a Dance” routine and one of the couples will say goodbye. The show started with an encore of Joanna and Derek’s futuristic Paso Doble. Then they were announced as being safe and going to the semi-finals.
Michael Buble’ performed “Haven’t Met You Yet,” off his hit album, Crazy Love. The professionals danced a romantic routine during the song. After the song, Mya and Dmitry were announced as being safe.
A bit called Dance Center was performed. Jerry Rice, Len Goodman and Kenny Mayne reviewed the competition and said that Mya has the best chance to win it all.
The Macy’s Stars of The Dance, Design a Dance, was up next.
Throughout the season the audience was asked to vote on a past all star to dance, their partner, the type of dance and the costumes for the dance. Sabrina Bryan was chosen to do a Paso Doble with Mark Ballas, to “Eye of The Tiger.” This was an awesome dance with fabulous costumes.
Donny and Kym were announced as making it through to the semifinals. Then Scottish singer Susan Boyle performed “I Dreamed a Dream.” The final two couples took the stage. Kelly and Louis were announced as safe, which left Aaron and Karina going home.
Aaron has been trying to battle his way back to the top since week three. He was saved from elimination last week with his dance-off dance. Unfortunately, he had no dance-off dance t his week. I will miss his over the top emotions and that weird forehead vain, but this was his time.
The quarterfinals are over and four teams are left for the semifinals. The Dancing With The Stars couple will have to pull out all the stops to make it through next week’s show.
