Does anybody remember TAR 6, when the teams had to unroll bails of hay to find a flag? This was the one where two girls unrolled over 100 bails of hay in 10 hours and never found a flag. Well, welcome back to the hay field. The Amazing Race 15 went back to that exact same spot for this leg of the race.

The remaining teams left the pit stop and headed to the airport to start this leg of the race. They had to fly to Stockholm, Sweden. There were only two flights out and the teams had to spend another night in the airport. The first flight left at 6:55 a.m. and had everyone but Erika and Brain and Gary and Matt on board.

They had to take a later flight a 9:25 a.m.

In Stockholm, the teams had to find an amusement park, find the tallest ride there and locate a clue box. The clue said that one player from each team had to ride the ride to locate an arrow in the park. The arrow is only visible for about six seconds before the ride drops you down 23 stories in three seconds flat.

Once they got off the ride the teams had to follow the arrow to a ring toss game where they had to ring a “Travelocity Gnome.” They had the choice of detours: Noble Dynamite and Viking Alphabet.  In Noble Dynamite, the teams traveled to a rock quarry where they built a bunker with sand bags then blew up rocks to reveal a box with their next clue. All the teams choose this detour. Matt and Gary got lost but never gave up and were the last to arrive at the quarry.

After the detour, the teams drove to the farm from season six, the sight of one of the most famous detours in TAR history, the flag in the hay bale. The teams then chose one person to unroll the hay to find the flag. Sam and Dan were first to arrive, but Sam was distracted by Dan’s constant nagging and complaining. Dan finally had a breakdown watching Sam try so hard with no luck. Flight Time and Big easy were the first to find a flag, even though the arrived third. This was an awesome birthday present for Flight Time. Maghen pulled a joke on Cheyne by sticking the flag in her pocket and telling him she was quitting the game. He was really supportive then she pulled the flag out. After the teams found the flags, they head to the pitstop located on the farm. The teams hit the mat in this order:

1st Flight Time and Big Easy, 2nd Meghan and Cheyne, 3rd Brain and Erika, 4th Sam and Dan, and 5th Gary and Matt

Gary and Matt never gave up and finally found a flag almost three hours in. Lucky for them, this was a non-elimination leg. So next week, they will have to perform a n extra task to stay in the race.
