This week, TAPS takes on the “wild west” when they visit the Buffalo Bill museum. Eddie McClintock from the hit Syfy series, Warehouse 13, joins in the hunt. The Ghost Hunters then head to a pre-Civil War home to search for the truth.
Buffalo Bill Museum, Lookout Mountain, Golden, Colorado
The museum was built in 1921 by Buffalo Bill’s foster son, Johnny Baker. The reports of activity range from Cowboy ghosts to dolls flying off shelves. Jason, Grant and Eddie start hunting in the café where the apparition of a cowboy was seen and dolls fly off the shelf. The team gives Eddie a crash course in ghost hunting. Grant records high levels of EMFs in the building.
Kris and Amy investigate the museum area. There were a few noises but nothing really interesting.
Outside, Steve and Dave look around the stairs where a woman has been pushed. They discover that there is loose gravel and the ground is slick.
High EMFs are found all over the property. The team looks around and discovers dozens of electrical towers around the area. This turns the whole site into a giant “fear cage.” A fear cage is an area surrounded by EMFs. These areas make people fatigued, dizzy, paranoid and can even make some people hallucinate.
Oakland Hall, Eatonton, Georgia
This private residence is a pre-civil war property built in the 1800s . Dave and Steve start in the attic. According to the history of the house, a disabled girl was kept in the attic. They hear a loud rustle or scraping sound. They were not able to capture it. The rest of the teams investigate through the night with no big incidents.
Many of the claims of activity here revolve around the electricity. Some items go off and on, light bubs burst. This is explained away by a visit from an electrician. The house is receiving too much electricity causing things to burn out. In the review they did find a weird EVP in the house. It sounded like a female or child’s voice.
I am so happy to see the regular Taps team back, after being let down on Halloween. This was not a very exciting show; however, it was an actual investigation. Next week the team is headed to New Hampshire and the first episode of Ghost Hunters Academy airs. I can’t wait.
