TAPS heads to Colorado to investigate a manor house that has reports of walls that are bleeding, skeletal ghosts and more. Can the Ghost Hunters debunk these claims or will they be left baffled? This location was also one of the runners up in The Great American Ghost Hunt.

Briarhurst Manor, Manitou Springs, Co.

The building was built in 1888 and contains 14,000 square feet. Not much was told about the property itself, but the reports of activity is a mile long.  There were noises, footsteps, objects moving, shadow figures, sightings of ghosts and yes, even bleeding walls.

Jason and Grant start a general sweep of the Palmer Room, which has many reports that include a man whistling and children’s footsteps.

They hear creaking floorboards above them that sound like footsteps.  So they take off to the attic, of course, no one is there. They go back to investigate the Palmer Room and Grant notices a long white light in one of the corners and again, the sound of footsteps. Kris and Amy head to the room in hopes that the females could get the children to play. They hear noises and footsteps as well. So the girls decide to go up to the attic where the noises are coming from. Kris and Amy try do get an EVP in the attic.

Dave and Steve survey the foyer and other areas of the house, with no definite responses. They head outside to search for a child that has been seen playing and the skeleton woman. They had no luck.

Grant and Jason go to look at the walls that bled. They discovered a bathroom above the walls. In the bathroom, they find a sketchy looking plumbing job and a bottle of red cleaner that dries just like what is on the walls. Without being able to test the substance on the walls, they could only guess the cleaner was the culprit.

Jay and Grant return to the Palmer Room yet again. This time they kept hearing a child or female voice. The voices did not belong to Kris and Amy.

The equipment was reviewed. The footsteps were heard on the recording as well as two indistinguishable voices, one male and one female. This, coupled with the chilling experiences they had while at the property, leads TAPS to confirm that Briarhurst Manor is haunted, with most likely a residual haunting.

There was so many reports in this place, I was sure they were going to get more evidence that what they did. All in all it was a great show. Not any humorous moments, but great none the less. Don’t forget to tune in this Saturday for the live Ghost Hunters show in Essex County Jail.
