Sons of Anarchy 600x300This episode opens up with the after-effects of last week’s brawl between Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Clay (Ron Perlman). Both men are bruised and scabbing, and Gemma (Katey Sagal) is doing her best to pull her family—and the club—back together. But Gemma isn’t the only one trying to put things right. The rest of Sam Crow is gathering resources to try to patch things up between Jax and his stepfather.

Opie (Ryan Hurst) reaches out to Jax, but it doesn’t go anywhere. I can’t imagine that Opie would be fond of hearing that Clay put a hit on him, which led to his wife Donna’s death. Because as we all know, that’s when the beef between Jax and Clay started.

On the porn business front, someone broke into Caracara Studios, stole a bunch of crap, and left a dead guard dog on the floor.

For whatever reason, it bothers me a hell of a lot more to see dead dogs than dead people. Poor doggie.

Sam Crow is positive of who is responsible for the break-in and dead dog—Georgie Caruso (Tom Arnold). So they storm in and take what’s rightfully Caracara Studios’…and then some.

But it turns out that the doggie isn’t the only casualty of Caracara Studios. Hale (Taylor Sheridan) finds porn star Luanne (Dendrie Taylor) beaten to death with a baseball bat by the side of the road.

Looks like Opie and Lyla (Winter Ave Zoli) are getting closer, and I think it might be a good thing, even though she’s a porn star. She seems like a genuinely sweet person, and I hope it works out for them.

Sam Crow is convinced that the Irish have the guns they’re looking for, and when they stop by to intimidate Edmond (Callard Harris), they get nowhere. But the audience does find out that Edmond is sleeping with Polly (Sarah Jones), Zobelle’s (Adam Arkin) daughter. This could get sticky.

During the gun seize, Sam Crow is involved in a shootout with the white supremacists. When will this conflict work itself out (hopefully with a few dead racists)?

Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) seems to be doing well and recovering from the van bomb quickly, but things get a little bit confusing when his long-lost wife shows up. Gemma’s comments regarding the wifey? “There have been three women I’ve been afraid of. My mother, my third grade math teacher, and that Irish bitch.” And that is just one reason why I love Gemma.

The pot luck dinner isn’t nearly as peaceful as the club would hope. Tara (Maggie Siff) lashes out at both Gemma and Lyla. The club breaks out in a heated argument. Finally, Hale stops by to deliver the news about Luanne. Looks like this potluck is going to be anything but unifying.

Will Sam Crow be able to pull it together? Or are they destined to break apart?
