Dog the Bounty Hunter Halloween Costumes

Dog the Bounty Hunter is a very popular show to find inspiration for dressing up during Halloween. Duane “Dog” Chapman is considered the best bounty hunter in the world. He is a born-again, ex-con who is now working to capture people who are what he used to be. Dog and his wife Beth are great costumes for couples wanting to show of their wild sides.

Be Dog for Halloween

To pull off a Dog costume, the first thing you’ll need is the wig. Dog’s hair is shoulder length, blonde hair that is slicked back on the front and sides. Find a pair of black paints, a black belt and cowboy boots. A black leather vest is a must to make this costume work. If you can find one with fringe, it will set it off. Dog had many accessories that can be used, some are vital while others are optional. The vital accessories include black leather fingerless gloves, black sun glasses and the bounty hunter badge that hangs around his neck. Some optional accessories that can be used are dog tags on a silver chain, a long, white earring in the left ear, and a walkie-talkie on the right hip.

Be Beth for Halloween

Beth is awesome because she is this large breasted, leather clad bounty hunter. Beth’s hair is long and bleach blonde. She often has “big Texas hair,” although she does wear braids from time to time. For her clothes, you will have to decide if you want the fierce look or the regular look. For the fierce look, get a pair of camouflage pants and a tight black shirt or a tight leather mini. For the regular look, get the tightest black paints you can find and a tight tee shirt. Beth wears a badge either around the neck or on her belt. She also wears fingerless black gloves on occasion. A walkie–talkie can be used to add to the costume.

I love these costumes. Dog is not only a great action-packed show, but it also is a show that proves people can change. Wouldn’t you like to be a take-charge bounty hunter, if only for one night? I admit Dog and Beth are two of my heroes and these costumes are great fun.
