This week the teams stay in Dubai and experience more of what it has to offer. Some teams find this leg a breeze, while others labor over small mistakes.  Who will be the next person eliminated on The Amazing Race? Let’s find out…

The teams leave from last week’s pit stop and grab a briefcase on the way out. Meghan and Cheyne are first to leave and travel to a  yacht club to find the next clue. On the boardwalk of the club, the teams hit the first road block. One member must get in a small inflatable dingy and row to a yacht offshore, where a sheik will give them a watch.  Once back on the boardwalk, they have to use the time on the watch to open the briefcase for their next clue.

Most teams made pretty good time here. The Globetrotters had trouble finding the club then got confused, thinking that the combination was 835, for the time on the watch, not 872, for the numbers the watch pointed to.

The teams then headed across town to the Abra Station, a water taxi station. The next clue was a detour. The teams could chose gold or glass. In gold,  the teams travel to a jewelry store and weigh out $500K in gold. In glass, the teams found a hookah stand and assembled 12 hookah pipes. The gold was challenging because the exchange rate changed constantly. Most teams flew through these changes with no troubles, except Erika and Brian. They tried the hookahs for 2 and a half hours before they realized the tops had to match the base.

The teams then had to travel to a water park and slide down a six story slide through a tube in a shark tank and out the bottom for the next clue. Meghan and Cheyne reached it first and flew through the slide. Mika and Canaan were in second to the last place, when they reached the slide. She was so scared. Canaan got all hysterical on her. At one point she was screaming to the attendant to help her. Canaan was grabbing her. That boy was manhandling her like a rag doll. I would have slapped him for grabbing me like that. The Globe Trotters caught up with them and Mika had two minutes to slide. The Globe Trotters were yelling a her, Canaan was screaming and in the end she couldn’t do it and let Flight Time and Big Easy pass them. Mika and Canaan were eliminated.

This episode really had no point where the teams had to wait for a flight or a site to open. This allowed the front runners to stay in the front. I can understand that Mika was scared and there was no reason for Canaan to disrespect her like that. Your girl should mean more to you that one million dollars.
