This week the TAPS team travels to Chicago to investigate the historic Congress Theater. This theater is full of stories about the weird and paranormal. The Ghost Hunters use a new technology to determine if this site is haunted.
Congress Theater, Chicago, Ill.

History
The theater was built in 1926 and has been host to a variety of stage acts that range from Harry Houdini to Prince. A man that used to live in the theater did die there years back. The mob also used the boiler room and basement areas to met in the late 1920s.
Investigation
Once all the equipment was set up, Jason and Grant started the investigation by doing a general sweep of the main floor and stage area. They noticed that someone or something is in the balcony walking from side to side. Jason runs up to check it out but no one is found. Every time a team went to the stage area footsteps and sounds were heard.
Kris and Kristyn head to the basement. They saw a series of shadows and heard some noises. Dave and Steve went to the basement and tried out the new equipment. This new equipment allows them to evaluate infrared, thermal, barometric pressure and humidity – all at the same time.
Dave and Steve go up to third floor catwalk. Dave was about to step onto the rickety catwalk, he feels someone tap him on his shoulder. Later, Jason and Grant headed up there and Grant walked across the catwalk. He is a braver soul than I. That place looked like if you breathed on it wrong it would come falling down.
Bitt and Amy investigate in the projection room. A loud bang is heard from below. Britt takes off to find the object that made the noise, but he finds nothing.
Evidence
An EVP( Electronic Voice Phenomenon) was recorded in the basement. After Amy asked if the entity worked at the theater, the voice responded, “No.” A strange thermal was also found on the balcony. At the reveal, Jason and grant explained the personal experiences and evidence from the night. They conclude that something paranormal is at the theater.
With the experiences Ghost Hunters had, I would say the best show at the Congress Theater may be backstage. This episode was pretty much all investigation, with so much happening and so much ground to cover , there was little time for anything else.
