Week five is over and the stars are starting to see the finish line. This week’s Dancing With The Stars Results show had special guest Norah Jones and a tribute to Michael Jackson. In this week’s performance show the couples received higher points  than ever, with the lowest judges’ score of 21.

Donny and Kym, who received two 10s and a nine last night,  performed the encore dance. Norah Jones took the stage and performed her hit, “It’s Gonna Be.” Throughout the night the pros talked about Michael Jackson and how he influenced dance.

The top three scoring couples from the performance show took the stage to learn their fate. Mya and Dmitry were safe. Marc and Lacy were safe, as well as Donny and Kym. Donny looked so nervous. Come on, you got a 29 last night. You’re not going home. This was followed by a view of what the stars go through on Mondays, just before the show.

The three couples that received 24 points from the judges were up next. Joanna and Derek were in jeopardy. Kelly and Louis were safe. Aaron and Karina were also in jeopardy. Kelly hurt her ankle in the performance last night. She went to the hospital after the show, with daddy by her side. She is still in pain but she is not out of the competition. Yay!  The two couples with the lowest scores took the stage. Michael and Anna were safe. Natalie and Alec were in jeopardy of going home.

Norah Jones sang “Come Away With Me.” Then the final two team found out if they were safe. Louie and Chelsie were safe, leaving Melisa and Mark in jeopardy.

For the Macy’s Stars of the Dance, we saw the tribute to Michael Jackson. Most of Michael’s family was there to watch the show and tribute. LaToya introduced the tribute. It was a great combination of Michael’s songs and moves. The pros did an awesome job ending with “Triller.” It was a fitting tribute to Michael.

This week was interesting because all the stars in jeopardy have been at the top of the leader board or one point away from the top. Melissa and Mark and Joanna and Derek were announced safe. Aaron and Karina and Natalie and Alec were the bottom two. Whoa, what happened? This was crazy! Aaron did much better than Joanna or Melisa. Natalie and Alec were the ones who ended up being sent home.

My prediction for this week was wrong. I was sad to see Natalie go, but America wants what it wants. Next week there will be a Mambo dance marathon, double elimination and a dance-off. I can’t wait.
