In this week’s episode of Two and a half Men, Charlie and Alan are bickering back and forth like some old married couple. They even try to go to mend their differences by reading a relationship remedies book that is clearly, and hilariously so, meant for couples. Their cleaning lady really brings in some great humor to it all as she is obviously more excited that Jake is gone, more than she is interested in him coming back.

Well, Jake gets tired of his father and uncle embarrassing him in public so he decides he isn’t staying at their house anymore and moves in with his mother. After Charlie and Alan half-halfheartedly go through the relations mending book, and even though they really don’t make much progress, they decided they are ready to apologize to Jake and show him that they have changed their ways.

It’s pretty clear to Jake that the two haven’t changed, primarily because they continue to bicker with each other right in the middle of trying to show him that they have changed.

So Jake decides he is still going to stay with his mother. However, once hearing the news, his mother isn’t going for it and she marches right into his room and literally throws him out on his butt. No pampering, no cuddling, just “Get your rear end back over to your father’s so I can have my personal time.”  Sounds a bit cruel in writing, but it really was one of the funniest parts of the entire episode.

Jakes begrudgingly grabs his things to leave and takes his father’s car keys as he walks passed them.  Then he drives off leaving the two standing there totally astonished by his actions. In the final moments of the scene they are not sure if he is waving goodbye or if he is giving them the bird … what a great final joke to close out the show.

As always this was another silly and fun episode of Two and a half Men. It was one of those episodes that had so many great one-liners and timely humor that you didn’t want to step away from your TV because you might miss a joke.
