America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions 3 is a collection of the nine scariest haunted houses in America. These attractions have people traveling from all over the world. If you are ready to star in your own horror movie, you can visit any of these nine attractions.

Bayville Scream Park, Bayville, NY

This “scream park” has a very macabre history which includes Barnibus Bay, a vampire and carnival man who founded the town. The history suggests that Mr. Bay set up a carnival where people came in, but never came out. The family mansion was closed in 1951 and reopened as part of this attraction.

This scream park has three different areas to visit, including Bloodworth Manor, the home of Barnibus Bay.

House of Torment, Austin, TX

This haunted house includes frightening farm animals, monsters and gruesome figures on zip lines. The creators of this haunted house have designed it so the visitor’s attentions are in one place and the scare comes from somewhere else.

Bennet’s Course, Hanover, MD

This Halloween spectacle is in a ruined castle complete with torture chamber. Bennet’s Course has a mixture of renaissance scenes and monsters.

Fright World, Buffalo, NY

This “scream park” has five haunted houses. Each haunted house has it’s own theme, such as Carnevil and House of the Dead.

The Darkness, St. Louis, MO

The Darkness is a maze of ramshackle old commercial buildings. You enter this attraction at the Temple of Fear and leave through The Haunted Mansion.

Creepy World, St. Louis, MO

This Halloween destination has five areas, which include a corn field, haunted house, Silo X, a hay ride and Raven’s Manor.

Fright Land, Middletown, DE

This is not just a haunted house, this is a haunted city with 1,700 acres of madness and mayhem. They have eight attractions and 140 actors.

Mansion of Terror, Austin, TX

This is a different type of haunted house, where the visitors are part of the story. The visitors must make choices throughout the haunted house, which can cause more or less frights to the people traveling with them. They do not know the consequences of their choices until they happen. They must also find their own way out of the mansion.

The Scare House, Pittsburg, PA

The Scare House is in an old decrepit theater, which is creepy enough. They also have an area called Delirium 3D. This area is like a sensory overload with flashing lights, colors, spinning walls and creepy glow-in-the-dark characters like clowns and zombie ravers.

Any of these locations would be an awesome place to spend Halloween night, but be ready for long lines and high prices. Make sure you are man enough before you go, because this show scared the heebie-jeebies out of me and it was just a TV show.
