This episode opened up with the aftermath of the van bomb set in place by our good old friends, the white supremacists. Chibs (Tommy Flanagan) is in critical condition, and everyone (especially the ladies) is worried about their safety. Sam Crow’s nerves are rattled, and Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is pulling out all the tricks to retaliate in a subtle yet effective way. Clay (Ron Perlman), on the other hand, isn’t so subtle. “We kill them all!” is the gist of what he proposes to the club.
In the meantime, the club is unsuccessful in their plans to clean up the evidence and prevent the Crime Scene Unit from revealing that it was, in fact, a car bomb … so Unser (Dayton Callie) takes a more creative stance by spilling a cup of soda mixed with urine on the crime scene.
Those Sam Crow boys sure are clever.
Jax is working close with Hale (Taylor Sheridan) to get to the bottom of the white supremacists’ plans, and the rest of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club aren’t too thrilled with the fact that Jax is going behind their back to clean up the problem. What ensues is a shoot-out at racist AJ’s (Henry Rollins) house … with AJ’s kids as the shooters.
Back on the ladies’ end of things, Hale confronts Gemma (Katey Sagal) about her rape in an attempt to get information that can lead him to bagging the bad guys.
The episode wraps up with a shoot-out at a white supremacy meeting, and the whole Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club ends up in the back of a paddy wagon.
But my favorite part of the whole episode? Watching Gemma and Tara (Maggie Siff) shoot up Luanne’s (Dendrie Taylor) pretty little car. That’s what she gets for trying to steal Tara’s man … right?
