Shawn and Gus, the dynamic duo of Pysch, have gotten themselves wrapped in another case. Is it true there’s a werewolf wandering around downtown Santa Barbara?  Can they prevent him from hurting someone?

In the Psych office, Shawn ( James Roday) and Gus (Dule Hill) are approached by Stewart Gimbley, a disturbed young man who thinks he’s a werewolf.  He says he’ll pay them triple to watch over him and keep him from hurting someone.  They bind him to a chair and fall asleep watching wrestling, only to be woken up by the Psych window breaking.  They take the hair they find to Juliette (Maggie Lawson) for analysis.

Carlton “Lassie” Lassiter (Tim Omundson) gives Shawn the card to Stewart’s shop and shoos him away.  At the shop, they meet Willow, Stewart’s sister, whom Gus takes an immediate liking to.  Willow is worried about Stewart and wishes to help as best she can.  They leave her at the shop, run back to their office, and search through Stewart’s bag for clues.  Apparently he’s on medication for schizophrenia and they decide to go see Dr.

At Dr. Tucker’s office, they meet Polexia, another of his patients.  After following her to her workplace, she says that she will no longer be seeing the good doc, nor will anyone else soon.  After finding a naked Stewart back in their office (he believes he killed two hunters in the woods as a werewolf), they decide to investigate Dr. Tucker and Polexia further.  Shawn and Gus sneak into Dr. Tucker’s office and find Polexia’s file missing and a pair of her underwear hidden away.  Shawn figures out they were having an affair, he wanted to break it off, and she decided to tell everyone about the affair in return.  Dr. Tucker decided to frame Stewart because he was an easy target (he thinks he’s a werewolf for goodness sakes!).  Shawn, Gus, Lassie and Juliette manage to catch the doctor before he kills Polexia.  He admits to what he did and to killing the hunters in the woods.

I know I say this often, but I really love Psych.  It makes me laugh, plus I enjoy seeing if I can solve the mystery before Shawn does.  There’s a certain spark between James Roday and Dule Hill that just makes the relationship between Shawn and Gus really pop.  Tune in next week when Shawn gets in over his head … again!
