Survivor: Samoa is back this week with a fury. Will Foa Foa ever get out of the slump? The show is back to two challenges per episode and I am loving it! In this episode, someone from Galu finds the immunity idol and one tribe gets live chickens.

At Galu, Shambo and Eric talk about the clues to the immunity idol. Shambo acts stupid and gives Eric and John the clues for the idol. What is wrong with this girl! She doesn’t hang out with anyone in her tribe. She gives her only chance for immunity away to two people she doesn’t trust. My opinion of her has now dropped down so low it’s not even on the radar.

Reward Challenge: Live Chickens

The tribe leaders were told to choose two people to go with them to the challenge.

Mick from Foa Foa chose Russell and Natilee. Russell from Galu chose Dave and Shambo. Then teams show up to the location, but Jeff is no where to be found. There is a large circle, a box and a crate of three chickens. In the box were balls, a flag and instructions for the challenge. The flag had to be placed in the middle of the circle and each team threw three balls at the flag. The ball closest to the flag wins the chickens. Galu pulled out another win at the last minute.

During the challenge, Eric from Galu, searched for the idol and found it. The next morning, Shambo let a chicken escape. A few tribe members chased it to no avail. Every time they show the Galu camp, Yazmin is sitting around doing nothing.

Immunity Challenge

This challenge had the teams running across nets carrying wooden blocks then stacking them on top of each other to create a tower. Once the tower was built and stood for five seconds, the teams had to traverse a rope bridge one at a time and stack more blocks even higher. Foa Foa won their first challenge. Galu would be making their first trip to tribal council.

At the camp, various names were thrown around for elimination. These names included Monica, Yazmin and Shambo. Yazmin said “I have nothing to worry about. Vote me out, my body could use the rest, damn it.” Russell, the tribe leader, wants Monica to go home and says, “They will listen to me or there will be a serious ass kicking. I am the tribe leader.”

Tribal Council

There was various talk about Yazmin’s performance at camp and Monica’s performance at the challenge. Yazmin ended up being voted off. I can’t say I blame them.

I’m so happy to see more of Galu this week. Maybe I’ll actually learn their names. Next week, Survivor has an eating challenge planned for us. I hope Foa Foa can keep this momentum because there are a couple of people I think need to go.
