Last week on CSI we saw ray find something very weird inside the body cavity of a dead body. This week we see what it is, but it only adds to the mystery. We also know that Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) is back for a little while.
This Episode starts with a girl in the shower and a man surprising her. The team comes to the house and finds a man dead in the bath. Turn out that the house is used as a studio for web-based porn. The neighborhood watch captain comes to the girl’s rescue so the CSI team take his clothes and talk to him. He complains about the neighborhood going down and says they have a peeper running around.
At the morgue, we find out that the weird thing from last week is the fact that the man’s intestines are tied around his spleen, but there are no wounds.
They discover the person that did this went through the belly button. The dead guy always wore a tux with a bow tie. They could not find the bow tie and they think the killer took it for a memento. This weirdness is gonna last a few episodes.
The team figures out that the peeper lives in the neighborhood and is the son of Judge Mason or Paul Millander. Creepy, right? You remember Paul Millander was a serial killer that made Halloween costumes. They think he might be the killer, but, he is not physically capable of the killings. A K-9 unit is used to track the killers smell, but the dog finds another body at a drug house. At this point I had already figured the murder out. They then test the shirts of the girl and the block captain from the scenes and find that the block captain has a strange splatter pattern on his clothes.
When the police arrive at the block captains house, he comes out with his daughter and a gun. They talk him into letting the daughter and wife go. I was pretty sure he was gonna kill himself at this point, but he doesn’t and goes to jail (see clip below). I was right, I knew it.
This was a great episode. The whole bit about the son of Millander was really weird. I am so happy Sara’s back. I do miss Grissom too, but Ray(Laurence Fishburne) is a good replacement.
