The winner of The Great American Ghost Hunt is finally investigated. Ghost Hunters also had a special guest in the episode, Meatloaf. I saw this and screamed like a tween meeting The Jonas Brothers. It turns out he has wanted to go on an investigation for a long time and now is his chance.
Island of the Pines, Thousand Islands, New York
This location has two houses, a four story main house and a three story boat house. The present owners’ grandparents bought the island and lived in the boat house. They let a local order of priests live in the main house. This location has had apparitions, noises and phantom music and the children play with an invisible dead priest.
Freaky!
Investigation
Jason, Grant and Meatloaf start in the living quarters of the main house. Right after entering one of the bed rooms three devices where drained of their batteries. They got a weird hit on the K-2 meter and start asking questions. The entity was a female and there was a male in the house as well. The investigators moved into the hallway while Meatloaf headed into another room with the K-2. Again they started having a conversation. This entity was the priest. When asked to make a noise, there was a loud bang. They asked again and another bang. They headed to the boat house, in the attic, they get another k-2 hit and they asked if it wanted them to leave and the k-2 flashed. Downstairs, they see lights in the bathroom. When they go to investigate, Meatloaf leaves his water bottle in the window. He asks if they could move the bottle closer to him. When they see shadows in the bathroom, they discover the bottle is now sitting on the toilet. Whoa.
Steve Tango and Meatloaf go back to the boathouse. Meatloaf sends Steve and Tango to the attic. He tells the entity if it does not want them up there to let them know. Immediately they hear knocking and banging sounds.
Let me say that two of my favorite things are Ghost hunters and Meatloaf. To have them in one place was like Christmas morning to me. Meatloaf added a bit of humor to this episode and the investigation went great. In the words of Meatloaf, “woo hoo.”
