In this week’s episode, Charlie doesn’t like the fact that Alan’s girlfriend Melissa has basically moved into the house even though Alan says she hasn’t moved in but has just been visiting a lot. After this exchange between Charlie and Alan, Melissa tells Alan that she wants to move in some of her furniture. Alan, now knowing how Charlie fills about Melissa moving in insist that he and Melissa keep things the way they are.
Charlie goes to Chelsea to complain and to his amazement Chelsea sides with Melissa and tells Charlie should try to be more supportive about Melissa wanting to move into the house. All the while Melissa continues to pressures Alan about moving in not knowing that Charlie is already prepared to let her move in because of what Chelsea had to say.
At the end of this funny episode of Two and a Half Men, Melissa and Chelsea wind up taking over the entire house, sending both Charlie and Alan to a hotel. To get everything back to normal the two outcast men call on Evelyn to help them figure something out. Evelyn intentionally tells Chelsea all about Melissa and Charlie’s romantic history, Chelsea then of course kicks Melissa out of the house.
This was a typical funny episode with the hook of Two and a Half Men being the combination of two grown men with totally opposite personalities and the conflicting impression they make on the teenage Jake. This makes for a great comedy. Kind of reminds me of the classic show The Odd Couple, with a twist.
