Gossip Girl is back for another week in the the lives of the New York elite.  Lily (Kelly Rutherford) is still AWOL, Rufus is raising the family and Georgina is back with a vengeance. Will Blair work her way back up the social ladder or will she except defeat and learn to enjoy the bottom?

Chuck and Blair

Blair walks in on Georgina and Dan, apparently she is unaware of proper roommate etiquette. Never open a door with a sock on the doorknob. She quickly runs to Chuck for comfort. Chuck is preparing for a big meeting and doesn’t have time for her. When she checks the mail, she finds a letter from some “secret society.” At the meeting, Chuck is shot down by the secretary and the meeting is canceled, but not before he finds out he needs to impress the investor and to do so he needs to by a photograph that is on auction.

Vanessa and Scott

Vanessa finds out that Scott is lying about some of the classes he is taking.

She goes to the NYU office to find out more. She finds out that he is not even enrolled. She Goes to talk to Dan but Georgina interrupts the meeting. Vanessa demands answers from Scott and finds out that he is Rufus and Lily’s son. He thinks they did not want him. Vanessa tells him that they went back to find him and his mom told them he died. It was is brother that died not him.

Dan and Georgina

After the visit from Vanessa, they start to investigate Scott and find out his real name. Dan thinks he’s his stalker and he might be dangerous. He is also trying to separate himself from Georgina, but she keeps popping up.

Sarena and Carter

Serena is trying hard to believe that Carter has changed. Something always comes up. Some girl walks up to him on the street and says they slept together. Then at the hotel, he says someone charged three bottles of wine on room service.

The Auction

Blair finds out she needs to buy a specific picture to get into the secret society, the same picture Chuck needs. Scott shows up to tell Rufus the truth, but is sidetracked when his mom shows up. Scott tells Rufus that his is his son’s brother. Sarena buys the picture, so that Blair and Chuck don’t get it.  She also discovers that Blair and Chuck have been set up .She also figures out that Georgina was the one who set up Blair and Chuck. She overhears Scott talking and she follows him to Boston. Chuck cashes in his stock and buys a hotel.

This episode was great and had so many twists and turns. Georgina has not changed and she is dead set on messing with Blair’s head. Dan is probably gonna get hurt in the cross fire. Sarena is slowly becoming more endearing and Carter may be more than he seems.
