Medium is back for it’s 6th season on a new network. If you tuned into NBC looking for Medium, you where looking in the wrong place. At the end of last season NBC canceled the show. Fans were ecstatic to hear that CBS picked up the drama. Allison has recovered from her surgery, however, she goes have some effects from the stroke and coma. She has to use a cane and she can’t use her hand or foot on her right side.

Allison has not had any visions or dreams, since she woke up from the coma. She decides to try to get her job back at the D.A.’s office. After her triumphant return she has a small flash.  She is asked to stay for a meeting.  The meeting is with the owner of several TV stations and newspapers.

His wife the sports reporter for the news is being stalked. A man is following her video taping her.

They talk to the stalker, who thinks they are there for some vandalism problems he is having. He believes he is in love with the sports announcer.  Allison has a vision of them having sex. Later that night, Allison has another vision with the “stalkee” crawling across the floor bleeding. She also sees her husband dead. She receives a call to tell her what she has already seen.  The stalker tries to see the girl and is shot by police. Allison sees a vision of what really happened. The girl used the stalker to frame him for her husband murder.

Upon investigation,  they find surveillance tapes of the sports reporter visiting the stalker twice.  At supper, she was eating with her right hand. The whole family lights up.

This was a great way to star the new season. There was not alot about the family on this episode. This is going to change next week though. I am pleased that CBS grabbed the ball when NBC dropped it last season. Let’s hope it stays for a while.

Here’s the preview for next week:
