TBL AftermathWith  the series premiere popping up at the bottom of the ratings with a mere 1.5 Million viewers,  The Beautiful Life is gonna have to pull a ratings miracle, if it wants to see a second season.

All the Models are waking up after last week’s party, watching the news and reading “Page 6″ about Egan’s drug bust. Raina and  Chris wake up and head to Claudia’s office to find out that Chris has a second chance. Raina’s brother drops by again and and Marissa asks him to a big party. There must be a huge fashion industry party in New York every week.

Chris is trying to start his new career and finding it quite difficult.

Sonja has the Versace job that has Marissa and Raina as back ground models.  Marissa is turning into quite the villain verbally attacking Sonja and being just plain mean.

When Sonja leaves her phone, Marissa gives it to the paparazzi.

Issac, Corbin Bleu’s character, is having a weird relationship with a agent. he is sleeping with her for money and to advance his career, although it does not seem to bother him much. He must be trying to break out of the sweat guy persona he got from his roles in the  High School Musical franchise.

The paparazzi guy visits Sonja’s house and demands something for her phone or he will post it’s contents everywhere. PS: Her daughter’s pictures are on the phone.

At the party Raina has a confrontation with her brother. When he leaves he is jumped by a group of guys. Don’t know what’s going on there. Chris comes from a photo shoot that that fellow model Cole set up, all upset because the photographer was a drunk. A pic is texted to everyone there of Sonja doing drugs. Raina goes to find Chris and they kiss, even though Claudia has forbid her to date him. Issac gets his music heard and its a big hit.

Back at Sonja’s house house Cole confronts her and finds out she has a baby. Aww, a sweet moment.

For the most part this episode had enough content to fill maybe 30 minutes. they added scenery shots and sub plot lines that lead nowhere.  This show could get interesting if they beef up the stories more.
