The winner of the “First Loser of the Fall TV Season” has just been announced. Twitter has started tweeting it up and The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the CW network has cancelled Ashton Kucher’s project, The Beautiful Life. No word yet from @aplusk on his Twitter stream. Either he hasn’t heard the news yet or he’s overcome with denial. Either way, you can’t expect a show to survive, not even on the cable networks, with just one million viewers tuning in and watching. Apparently that’s how many viewers the show received this week. Good-bye Beautiful Life, alas, we barely knew thee. And it seems no one cares.
Coming up next: Will Melrose Place get the ax or will Heather Locklear be able to save the show? My bet is on an early cancellation for the rehashed show.
