The CBS hit crime drama Criminal Minds first premiered on September 22, 2005. It is a television series that follows the cases of a criminal profiling team from the Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI, located in Quantico, Virginia. Criminal Minds plot angle is that instead of focusing on the crime itself to catch the bad guy, they focus on the criminal. A different twists to a crime drama as they attempt to predict a criminal’s every move in order to catch them.
Criminal Minds began its fifth season on CBS last night with the episode entitled “Faceless, Nameless.” Insanely original, the new show was about a local doctor receiving a threat from a killer claiming he will kill the doctor’s son. It turns out to be a heartbroken father who blames the doctor for killing his own son, but in truth the man’s son was killed by an automobile.
The man wants to kill the doctor so that his son will not have a father, just like the man himself no longer has his son.
While all this is going on the team is also trying to figure out what happened to Hotch (Thomas Gibson) and why he won’t answer or return any of their calls. Unknown to the team, Hotch has been attacked, stabbed and tortured by a psychopath known as the Reaper. Hotch ends up getting rushed to the hospital, clinging to life. The Reaper leaves a clue that he is going after Hotche’s son and his former wife. However, the Reaper has an even more devious plan to hurt Hotch, which involves a lot more than killing him or his family. No Spoiler, you need to go see this episode of Criminal Minds for yourself.
