Melrose Place is hopping and it seems that everybody has a motive for Sid’s murder. The show opens with a montage of all the cast stating the day. The only notable bits where David breaking into a house and stealing a hospital key card and Jonah and Riley fighing. She still has not told anyone that she is engaged. that’s crazy, right?
At the House
A director that Ella represents backs out and She gets Jonah to fill in. Ella is either into Jonah or she does not like Riley, either way, She is constantly trying to wedge herself in there. Ella’s hoping to get Jonah his big break so he will be grateful.
Lauren is leaving for work when she hears something in Sid’s apartment. She goes to check it out. The police tape is torn and the door is open. She walks right in. Are you insane? There could be an ax-welding murder in there. She doesn’t see anything, but we do. Violet is in the closet trying on clothes. Violet is either a mentally unstable lost girl or a mega-crazy stalker chick. She takes and wears the dead girls dress! Ew! She also buys sun glasses and gives them to Auggie.
At the Hospital
Lauren tries to get a internship with David’s dad. She throws around David’s name in hopes it would get her the position. David uses the card key he stole to go into his dad’s office and download some files. Lauren chatches him. In the internship interview, Lauren metions the chance meeting and the Doctor has a twinge of fear in his eye. A flash back shows that David’s dad treated Sid 12 years ago after she was attacked, and he then faked her death. She went to jail for six years for this while he lived a happy life. Was it that way for Violet?
Back at the Apartments
David’s dad breaks into his apartment and tells him he is going to be all over him. He then tells Lauren she has the intership. He is so gonna use her to spy on David. Auggie gets Riley drunk and kisses her. Obviously out of shame, she tells everyone she is engaged to Jonah. When he comes home he is just ecstatic. He has no clue.
David looks at the files he took from his dad. There are folders with all the tenants names and copies of rental agreements, even some names we have never seen before. Next week the cast meets their new landlord, Jane Andrews (Josie Bissett). Fans may remember her from the first series.
