Neil Patrick Harris stole the show this year as the host of The 61st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. It was a night full of laughter, glamor and a few tears.
The show opened with the host Neil Patrick Harris doing a hilarious musical number that had viewer’s sides splitting. The night continued with various comical bits created by the host.

This year, Sarah McLachlan sang “I Will Remember You” for the memorial of those entertainers and employees, of the television community, who have passed this year.
Although not all my top choices won, the show did honor those who we invite into our homes every week.
