WHS13_Myka_PeterThe Syfy channel‘s spooky and fun series Warehouse 13 continues to deliver the action, mystery and fun that we’ve grown to expected from the show. This week’s episode on the Syfy channel was no different.

Entitled Nevermore,” the show opens with Peter, a warehouse agent,  finding MacPherson, an ex-warehouse agent-gone-rouge, hiding  in Canada.  A foot chase ensues and just when the police and Peter have him cornered we are introduced to a small, finger sized cymbal.  MacPherson with the slightest click of his fingers kills two police officers and Peter  just manages to shield his ears to keep from being killed himself.

This keeps the show centered on the capture of Artie’s arch nemesis, building up for what promises to be a climactic confrontation between the two.

The plot then switches to Myka’s father who has come in possession of a particularly dangerous artifact. It’s a book and the twist to the story is that the book once belonged to  Edgar Allen Poe (which is where the episode gets its title from). This particular artifact is a dual threat because its power is fused with a pen that has been separated from it. The book’s supernatural powers take over Myka’s father and telepahically connects him with a young man in school.  The pen’s power seduces the young man causing him to do some very dangerous supernatural deeds.

With her father’s life on the line the team must work together to reunite the pen and book in order to save his life and they only have one day to do it.  What ensues is another fun, adventures episode of Warehouse13 and as always the plot is laced with enough danger to keep your eyes glued to the screen.
